A Quran teacher your child looks forward to

Children learn best from a teacher who is patient, kind and consistent. Every teacher at Al-Rehman holds an ijazah or equivalent qualification and is selected after a live demo class. We match your child with a teacher who suits their age and personality, and if it is not the right fit you can change teacher at no cost.

What children learn

  • Noorani Qaida: the letters, sounds and joining, for complete beginners.
  • Quran reading with tajweed: fluent, correct recitation.
  • Hifz: memorisation with a daily revision plan.
  • Daily duas, the steps of salah and short surahs, taught with simple meanings.

Why one-to-one works better for children

In a group, a shy child can hide and a quick child can get bored. One-to-one classes let the teacher hear every letter your child reads and move at exactly the right speed. Lessons are 30 minutes, the right length for focus, and they include praise, small goals and gentle repetition.

Safe and parent-friendly

  • Parents are welcome to sit in on any class.
  • Girls and women can be taught by female teachers.
  • Classes run on one secure class link, with no private chats with students.
  • A monthly progress report tells you what was learned and what comes next.

Class times after school
