The Hifz method we use
Our teachers are Huffaz from a family of Huffaz, and they teach Hifz the way they were taught. Every class follows three parts:
- Sabaq: the new lesson for the day, recited to the teacher after preparation.
- Sabqi: revision of the most recent portion, so new memorisation becomes firm.
- Manzil: revision of older portions on a rotating schedule, so nothing is forgotten.
The teacher sets realistic targets for each student and adjusts them every week. Parents get a weekly update for Hifz students, showing new lessons, revision and anything that needs extra practice.
Who can join
Students should already read the Quran fluently with basic tajweed. If your child is not there yet, we start with tajweed and fluency and move into Hifz when they are ready. We teach boys and girls from about age 7, as well as adults. Women and girls can study with a female Hafizah.
How long does it take to memorise the Quran?
It depends on age, daily time and consistency. Children studying part time alongside school often complete Hifz in 3 to 5 years. Students who give more time each day can finish faster. Many families also choose a partial goal first, such as Juz Amma or a few selected surahs. Read our guide: how long does Hifz take?
Online Hifz that fits school
Online Hifz works well because there is no travel and lessons can sit around the school day. Most of our Hifz students take five 30-minute classes a week, plus short daily revision at home with a plan the teacher sets.
Fees
Every plan starts with 3 free trial classes. Classes are 30 minutes, live and one to one.
